There is an A-MAZING movie about his rise from obscurity as a poet, muso, and graffer, to outrageous international, drug infused fame… its just called Basquait. David Bowie rips it as Andy Warhol. Sadly Basquiat died of a drug overdose at 27, but his genius lives on!!!! Keep an eye out for a documentary coming out later this year Basquiat: The Radiant Child.
